Ability to cross out (put a line through) specific clauses in General Terms of Sale
Rochelle Burton
.... when asked by lawyers to do so (eg: if property being sold as is where is, or need to delete vendor warranties etc). Have tried many times to just add a clause in Appendix saying for example: Clauses 7.1, 7.2, 7.3(1) & (2), 7.3(5) – (8), 7.4 under Vendor's warranties and undertakings are also deleted within the General Terms of Sale.
However, a lot of lawyers still want it them crossed out/put a line through it

You could use pdf2go.com or adobe pro, or print the particular page you need to change, strike out the unwanted clauses, scan, then reinsert into the document as a manual S&P. I would suggest also having a Solicitors Approval clause if you are making such changes, to put some responsibility back on them to ensure correctness.
